    Still cheaper than getting an Everdrive X7 I suppose. Might order it and replace it soon. So far the EZFlash has been holding its battery fine, I wonder when it will run out. Must be soon. Thanks for all the info and help!

    Yikes, I suppose I was too focused on the 08 in the chip. This is still a "bad" version then?

    I think they went back to SRAM. I ordered my cart a week ago, and to my surprise my chip has the 08 mark. There is no date on the PCB.
