Tutorial AndroidPass, an alternative for the StreetPass Riilay

I don't understand what I'm supposed to be doing. I have the app downloaded on my Samsung Galaxy S5, I have Wi-Fi tether and I have rooted phone, but there's no step-by-step instructions or elaborations on the methods.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

It was the device that showed my MAC address when I typed "ip link show". However now for some stupid reason it's not even showing up at all when I type in that command.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I decided to research and use the BusyBox + Terminal Emulator method. Went into root features and typed a command like "ip link set tiap0 address XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX" (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX being one of the mac addresses in the google doc) It then told me "Operation not permitted". Not sure why this...

Tutorial StreetPass Riilay: The HomePass method on your phone

I'm not understanding the BusyBox method at all... and I input that "busybox ifconfig wlan0" command in the terminal emulator, it said "error fetching interface information: Device not found"

Can you elaborate on what I need to do with the terminal emulator & busybox to get it to work? That app also seems pretty interesting, I downloaded it

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I don't know if I've mentioned this already but I've followed Android Guide 1, and when I pick "Auto" for Device it doesn't show the Wi-Fi driver reload options but when I pick Generic ICS/JB (wlan0) it does. Also I looked for that mac.info file as well as nvmac.info. Neither of them exist...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

My Atrix 2 is on 2.3.6, however I can't find this file. Instead I found a file called "nvs_map.bin" which seems to contain a bunch of MAC addresses.

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Unless you're talking about my phone (which I said was a Motorola Atrix 2) I'm not sure what you mean by "which Android". Do you mean which firmware version? And it says "/data/data/com.googlecode.android.wifi.tether/bin/ifconfig wlan0 hw ether 4E:53:50:4F:4F:46... failed", hmm. Surprised I...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

Hello. I am using a rooted Motorola Atrix 2. Have the 3.3 beta wifi tether program installed, as well as busybox and terminal emulator to test if it works. Inputted the MAC address and the SSID, checked the settings I needed to enable and picked my own phone for "Change Device-Profile" (it...

Hacking Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story Working on R4

May I ask what website/link did you download your M&L rom from? I followed EVERY STEP and it STILL doesn't work. I even downloaded the YSMenu folder you were talking about. Not to say that what you said is complete BS, but it's seeming to me that you threw a lot of people off saying that, and...

Hacking Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story Working on R4

Is the _DS_MENU.DAT file required? I followed every step except for 1-9... and the game didn't load.
