I get an error when trying to run gba roms. NDS roms launch fine.
"start failed. error 1 nds-bootstrap (release) not found."
_nds/nds-bootstrap-release.nds is in the folder.
Does Twilight menu have any advantage running gba roms, over installing CIA file to homescreen?
If theirs no advantage, rather install/convert gba roms and open them from 3ds menu homescreen.
Also, any way to create shortcut to open specific rom from twilight menu? Or does everything go through...
So not sure what happened to my star force save, but it's gone....
I played through it without turning off my 3DS. I beat the game and after credits got new game option, not sure why.
Quit menu and restarted game, now I'm at a part near the start of the game.
I saved multiple times before this...
Any disadvantages to running from sd card instead of flashcart/real cart?
I own Megaman star force peagasus, but wanted to play dragon version. It looks to be fully playable and runs fine so far, so it should be no different than running from legit cart?
It really is my main gripe with vita, it's emulation being pretty bad compared to psp.
I found out retroarch can use some good overlays to make gba games look way better. Adrenaline is blurry compared to how they look in retroarch.
auto
So no settings, it's just overclocked on latest/nightly...
So is gba emulation still not full speed?
Tried megaman battle network and audio is still laggy/cuts out.
Has any progress been made in optimization, it's been years and still same issues.
I see something here about overlocking making it run better, but not sure how I would do that. Do I just...
This looks to be good news, but don't expect it to be running smoothly anytime soon.
Retroarch can't even run GBA full speed after months, hope they work on optimization instead of new emulators.
Is the version you posted somehow better/faster?
I assume this won't help with GBA emulator not running full speed?
So after 10/16 nightly the builds started to somehow get worse?
I will try another rom, maybe that is the problem.
Also, I do have bios in correct location.
To clarify I had screen tearing when I started run/walk around the room.
The game runs fine fps wise.
I honestly don't know what is going on. I run "mega man battle network 3 Blue" and I get screen tearing, by just walking.
Never had this issue on my psp, might be a bug in adrenaline?
If you can, try the game I mentioned.
Skip the intro, right after you should be able to move around.
Tell if...
@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
