    Yeah wait for an ebay sale like the 20% off they just had for Fathers Day. They have had pretty regular sales lately of like 15%-20% off. I got a 1.0.0 for $300 shipped with the fathers day sale.

    I just scored a 1.0.0 switch for $300 on ebay thanks to the 20% off Fathers Day code: PICKDADSGIFT. What benefits does this give me over my 4.0.1 switch? I haven't started hacking yet, I was waiting for Atmosphere to drop.

    If you're on 4.1 you're fine, Mariko units aren't even out yet as far as we know. All firmwares up to 5.0.2 are hackable.

    Doesn't FAT32 have a max file size of 4gb though, wouldn't you want ExFAT?

    Use a program called Rufus to format it to fat32. I tried just formatting with Windows and it didn't work, but formatting with Rufus made it readable on my 4.0.1 switch.

    If it loads it from the cartridge, it should be 4.1 I would think....... as long as you have your internet turned off you could probably try it.     Is there a way to format a 200gb card for use with a 4.0.1 firmware switch? or do I need to update..... if so what is the largest card I can use without updating? edit: nevermind, got it working with a program called Rufus.

    There are going to be softmods in the future without the need for a jig for lower firmwares, so don't upgrade if you don't have to.
