    Thank you! I shall try safe mode later on .. do you know if there is anything in-between the traces of pin 18 and i5jl? Iam leaning encoder aswell but I have found a few other issues on the board itself .. there is some 560 filtering caps on the board that seems to be shorted to ground...

    Thank you for your response, Will check the pin directly but pin 6 on i5jl is giving 5.1v when turned on and pin 4 has always 5.1even when standby. I am using TPS2553DDBVR as reference.. I was informed that it's "the same"
