    thank you for the reply. I don't think the chips are the same? Ill send pics of the board as I dont know which chip to look at (i assume its the 8 pack in the back where each would be 32mbit but not sure)

    hey, found this thread after buying mine today and have the SAME EXACT flashing issue. card etc is the same (F2A 256m) error at write/read on 0x800000 then Illegal state. Did you manage to resolve this with the other person? If so id really appreciate the help
