    Hello again, so I'm at it again, this time I try it on a known-good NDSL and it is not working. I cleaned the contacts of the cartridge and the sd slot, wiped the sd and used a soft rubber on it. PC reads sd w/o problem. But still after the update is done no reboot and massage "no_kernel_found"...

    yeah but other than not updating to Simple it works absolutely great like day one, and like you I thought I was amongst the happy ones with a non issue EZ Omega, which is rare like you said. I will try again tomorrow and come back to you with good news, I hope

    I just screwed it all back together... 1775097791 Is there any known issue with maybe older pcb revisions of the omega or something like that. I got 2 of them, both don't work... bought them maybe around 2018 but I'm not sure, few year back definitely

    Did that already, thought occurred to me too. cleaned the contacts from my GBA too with just the right amount of dioxit and checked my display upgrade for shorts too.

    I tried to get this to work but so far no luck, by now I'm almost completely convinced that I must be retarded in some way. Omega with latest Kernel and Firmware: I did everything exactly as mentioned here and the doc. Set up the Card. copy Kernel of my choosing, Backup and System to root...
