    I am tempted to download the pokemon Sun update instead and see if that will work for me.. because nothing else has gone my way. And apparently the new season for the battle spot battles are happening soon, and I won't be able to participate if I can't get online!

    I just re-downloaded the update... same problem! It simply will not start with version 1.1! This is a new ds, everything is in working conditon, and the game runs fine without the update... ohh nintendo is gonna hear it from me in the morning.

    I went to the eshop and clicked repair download on the update. Still nothing. Black screen. Can't play. :(

    Yes I went back into the estore and re-downloaded the update and its still giving me the same issue, a black screen for over half an hour where I can't even go back to the homescreen. No I don't have Luma3DS, I just play the game normally. I havent even taken the cartridge out until tonight.

    Save editing? I am not sure what that is so I don't think I did that. Okay so I turned off my 3DS, held down the select button, pressed the power button and it took me to the normal home screen, nothing were I can "enable game patching" or region/language. What do I do now?

    I need help! I just updated my Pokemon moon so I can use the online functions, and now the game will not boot up at all! I click on it from the home screen and then the screen goes black and the game never loads! Is anyone else having this problem??
