Is there any reason this wouldn't work for a switch? I have two of them, and this works just fine on one, but on the other the screen remains black and the Linux penguins never show up.
The one that works is on software 5.0.2, the one that doesn't is on 5.0.1. But that shouldn't matter. Both...
Yeah that's the output I get from running the script too. The script is in my shofel2_linux folder and it makes a bunch of other files. When I run sudo ./boot_linux.sh my switch never boots linux even though the terminal says success.
Actually my last line is:
insmod: ERROR: could not insert...
So I think I figured out why my switch wont boot Linux. I have a USB3.0 port and USB a3.0 to c cable, but for whatever reason, my computer detects it as a USB 2.0 when plugged in.
If anyone knows how to fix this I'd appreciate the help, otherwise I guess I'm at peace knowing my laptop is trash
DId you ever get your switch to boot Linux? I'm having the same problem and I've been beating my head over it for the last few days. My switch loaded linux ONCE and then immediately the screen went black, I have no idea why it decided to load that time or what caused it to crash, but I haven't...
My problem right now is that I can't even get linux onto the switch. Once the "Done. You should see kernel booting on switch soon" after the seemingly successful message comes up my screen stays dark. I can't even get it to the "waiting for root device sdmmcblk0p2" phase without the SD card in...
The waiting for mmc0blk2 supposed to show up on the switch right? Do you restart the switch and put it in RCM mode each time or just relaunch the script without restarting the switch?
So I tried it without the SD card and I still get the same exact output as before. I feel like somethings not right there, but have no idea where to begin
Hi guys, I'm pretty noob to Linux, but this is the output I've been getting when using SoulCipher's GitHub repo and trying to run the exploit.
I flashed arch_lxde.zip onto a 128GB sd card using Etcher. After the output from below spits out, my screen stays black and the kernel never loads. Any...
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
