    From what I've seen so far, the key doesn't seem to likely to be overly complex and we can crack it with enough permutations. Additionally my understanding is once you can clone you can hex edit. You read the complete tag into memory, edit the "image" while in memory, then save the image back...

    I am a software engineer with experience in many languages, including Java. I will happily donate some time to a project for emulating, cloning, and hex editing amiibo. Maybe we should set up a small git repo for development.
