    Hacking Where to get a firmware 4.5 or below 3DS XL?

    Went in to a Bestbuy yesterday and bought the last blue/black 3dsxl with serial SW1247XXXX. But they still had at least 6-8 Red/blacks with serial #'s SW12's in the cage. US version. Confirming that the model I purchased has FW 4.4.

    AK2i Update for DSi 1.4

    I added the file to my micro sd card and connected it to the DSi and I can't see it in the main menu of the AceKard screen? Am I doing something wrong or is it still the firmware that I am downloading? Again, I am new to this!!

    Am I supposed to edit any lettering from this file "ak2ifw_update_14.rar" cause it seems to look like the firmware that I have been downloading for the past 4 hours. I thought there would be 2 files: One for the DSi and the DSLite?
