    UPDATE Just got my copy back today. Fortunately Nintendo provided me with a new copy of Pokemon X and an additional new cartridge box (I don't know why?). Considering that they are technically not even supposed to repair it, I'm grateful for their kindness. Powersave safely guys!

    So I've heard. I've been using Y with Powersaves and there hasn't been a problem as of yet, but I've seen bricking occur with both X and Y. Needless to say, I've still very careful with what ever version I use.

Your issue is one of the common ones I was speaking about ,and frankly easier to deal with, because at least the Powersaves/ 3DS is reading the card information.
