Hacking Anyway to use Hekate v5 (emnand) w/ Buttons not Touchscreen?

As far as I'm aware, you can delete the nyx bin file in the bootloader folder and that will give u the previous hardware button interface. I haven't updated hekate yet, so I'm not 100% sure of the filename, but I definitely saw this mentioned in a thread on this forum somewhere.

I'm sad about my switch and it's it's sudden inability to charge itself. Unfortunately I don't have to knowledge or equipment to diagnose and repair/replace whatever is wrong with it. @mattytrog Don't suppose you do repairs as well as mod installs?

Usually I'd google this, but it's late and I've had a couple of beers so I'm gonna go the lazy route and ask... :) I see the two caps, but is it the one nearest the CPU or the one nearest M92T36? and I assume I measure from the top point of the cap, but then again, assumption is the mother of...

After doing a bit of googling / reading, it does sound like I have a problem with my M92T36 chip. Probably down to the integrated usb ports on the house's mains sockets, even though I made sure to buy a 56k cable. Bummer. I don't have the right equipment to change one though unfortunately.

I'm from Devon. Link to photo of install https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GV2qqQoXP113GUDGMkmT5if_HZv_P5TZ I noticed some residue across the pins of the usb port on the board, i cleaned it away a little before taking the picture, but you can still make it out in the photo.

I certainly will, I will disassemble it later. Strange, as it has worked fine for weeks.

Sorry if this is offtopic for this thread, but mattytrog seems very knowledgeable on the guts of the switch, so I thought i'd ask here. I plugged my switch in this morning as the battery was getting low and all of a sudden it doesn't charge anymore, not in the dock, from a battery pack or from...

For a bit of further information, the jig I bought off of eBay failed ( split down the middle ) on the reboot after I did the no fuse burn update to 5.10 and burnt my fuses anyway, after months of keeping my switch on a lower firmware. Which was very frustrating. So now I'm jig less and don't...
