    when updating hakchi, choose the portable version and just extract the files in your previous install-directory. With this method all your roms and preferences will stay. I did that when updating from RC3 to RC4 and from RC4 to Final.

    I don't know, maybe you all are a little bit too worried about this. It's not nice, sure, but I mean when I see how hot my mobile phone gets sometimes when doing emulation via MHL connection to my beamer and it still works after nearly 4 years. I personally don't think it will brick your device...

    I'm totally happy with RC4. I managed to get some hacks running and it's just fantastic! I got RetroArch running, too. How do I force RetroArch to start a snes-game (for a few problematic roms)? I have the snes9x-module already installed. Any help is appreciated!

    Since there are a lot of presets for the snes-roms, I'm asking myself if rom-hacks with special chips will work, if they are not on the preset list. There are a few good ones out there for example "More Super Mario Kart", "Mario Kart R" or "Super Mario RPG Plus". Maybe this is a noob question...
