    Not really sure why you've just assumed everyone does this to pirate but okay... And it's more than an inconvenience, I'm trying to work out if it's broken or not. Not knowing if the thing will boot or not is not an inconvenience.

    As in, when I dock it I have no issue with it sending video to the TV, which I would expect to be an issue if the port was indeed faulty. I use a C-C cable to send payloads, undocked.

    Yep docked mode works just fine, which is why I'm confused. As I said the switch does actually charge the device it's plugged into so something is happening, I just don't know what's up with the sudden RCM issues I'm having.

    Because trying pot luck up to 30 times to get it to boot isn't ideal... When it used to work instantly and I have no idea what combination of things I need to do to make it work now it is a problem.

I've had my Switch for about 2 months and not used any aftermarket docks, but I know my girlfriend has changed it using various USBC chargers around the house... I've had this thing CFW for all...
