    Anybody successfully contacted Nintendo UK about re-flashing? I sent an email early afternoon but no reply, going to call them tomorrow. Will get back with details on servicing/details of civil or criminal action (I really don't like my country anymore... ).

    Thanks for the info. I doubt I'm going to be contacting Nintendo UK customer services though to ask for a service, I don't want to risk them acting on the ruling that modchips are illegal in the UK.

    Left battery out for ~14 hours with Wii unplugged, has made no difference whatsoever. Guess that theory has no merit. Now I just have to wait a couple of days for the LAN adaptor to see if that helps.

    marc is the protocol, guess it's more than likely Wii's internal protocol for accessing files. EU/EU/ENG/Setup/ScreenSave.html may be a page in an internal directory rather than on the web, eg EU/EU/NL/Setup/ScreenSave.html or EU/EU/SPA/Setup/ScreenSave.html may also exist, and which one is...

    Good point. It isn't set up to be online anymore, had loads of issues getting it to stay online via wireless (there's three other wireless routers that show up from neighbouring flats using different channels that interfere). I had one online update back in December and one update from SSX Blur...
