First of all, that's not OCD, and saying it as a joke is worse. Second, there is absolutely zero evidence of anyone being banned for playing ROM hacks. The problem is that they were hatched in Nova Sun, instead of in Supernova/Penumbra. Their original trainer is the Nova Sun character. RRSS hide incoming Pokémon in Switch Mode, just like this hack. That's literally the reason I mentioned it. Online modes are Set Mode, and that's an awful comparison to make. Switch Mode is extremely powerful, and removing the knowledge of incoming Pokémon makes it a lot more balanced without removing the ability to switch, since his hacks are balanced around Set Mode.
