    Thanks Guys - unit arrived this morning 21st (ordered Saturday late in the evening) delivered by Hermes. All tested and works fine and yes as u said all in English. This is a massive result for me and will have a very happy Daughter this xmas.

    No it incurs french TVA tax which is inclusive in the price which means its cleared into the EU so customs cannot charge for what is basically a "Free Trade" item.     Thanks guys. Kane - Amazon FR has the Animal Crossing DS XL Special edition works out 179GBP using the currency converter. Says they are going to deliver to me in UK by 22 Nov - we shall see.

    Simple but possibly stupid question - will the console come with an "English" language setting? and will the preloaded game only be in French or English as well? Any other differences I need to know about - its £100 cheaper than the UK version Thanks
