    Okay i have some weird update. I just got back to testing the ps1 and now the spindle motor started working normally again don't know what happened i just left it off a couple of months and now it just happened to work fine.

    Okay after further findings I found out the data resistor and the one next to it have resistance of 80k and 60k when they should be 100k each maybe that's the problem.

    it could be I looked at the data smd and the part where it was soldered was chopped I bit, but. I will try and check it out once I'm back at home next week. Thanks

    i hope it not the bios as well, the ps1 still works no issue even when the nano was de soldered its just motor spins no matter what now even if the disk tray is open.

    No problem dude I'm just glad your still active and update in your current situation. Mine stared doing this last week after installing the lasted version of Psnee into a Arduino nano even after de-soldering so it might have shorted the ic chip.
