Gaming When was my DS manufactured?

I could be wrong on this, but on the sticker on the bottom, if the part where "(C) Nintendo" hasn't worn off, the year next to it may tell you. I'm unsure if they changed it for every year it was manufactured. If they did, you know the year. If they didn't, then your starting point is 2004 :p

Gaming Shoulder buttons not working weird issue

I have to disagree, creating a seal around the button with your mouth and either sucking or blowing has worked for me on the ds phat, lite, and dsi.

Hacking 007 Blood Stone Cheats AK2i

(This only applies if you edited the usrcheat.dat file using R4CCE. If you have no idea what that is, disregard this post.) Ok, this freezing has happened to me too, and the combination of 2 things worked for me. (I hope you know how to use R4CCE) The first thing I did was that I loaded the...

    Hacking usrcheat.dat bugs/problems

Ok, this has happened to me too, and the combination of 2 things worked for me. The first was, as said above, rebuild the database. The other thing I did was that I loaded the usrcheat.dat file into R4CCE, and under the "item" button on the menu bar, there is a "sort games" option, which comes...

Hardware Can you recommend a place for laptop batteries?

I agree with amazon, this seems to be the lowest price from a respectable seller. http://amzn.com/B002V15LSM

    Homebrew UBER DEX

Maybe this is a bad idea, but perhaps for legendary Pokemon you could change the color of the small pokeball on the upper left corner of the top screen from red to gold. So basically, Red (normal) pokeball = non-legendary, and gold (or some other) pokeball = legendary. From the database side I...

XBOX slim will not have RROD

Am I the only one who gets the generic "Board Message" stating "Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available." When I click on the link at the top of the first post?

Hardware So we can pretty much confirm that...

I think it could easily handle gamecube and the like. If you think about it, the hard war has to be powerful enough to render not only the bottom screen once, but it has to render the top screen twice, one for each eye, to create a 3d effect. So considering that, it should have at least the...

Hardware Am I the only one who didn't see a second slot?

Wellll I'm not sure about that last part, if you mean that it's mechanical than perhaps, if you mean that it's electronic then I'm not sure. Who knows, it could be the same size and the perspective just makes it look bigger, storage tech is obviously good enough that it should be easily possible.

    Gaming Nintendo Online Press Kit

Edit: ^Beat me to it If any of you have firefox with the DownThemAll! add-on, use that. I'm getting an average of 950-1000 kb/s

Hardware Am I the only one who didn't see a second slot?

Nah, I think it's just because the first pictures are blurry. And the lighting in the pictures isn't exactly amazing. If you look at my last post there's a link to another gallery with better pictures.

Hardware Am I the only one who didn't see a second slot?

@Overlord Nadrian: No problem. True, but it looked to me as if the card slot was bigger, more the size of a compact flash card than the current DS card size. In any case, it really just looked bigger, so assuming it is I'm interested to see how the currently sized DS games will be kept inside...

Hacking Ashley and his team - unofficial TT firmwares

That wouldn't work. Remember, the files that he is changing are firmware files that were originally made by the real NDSTT people. So even if he put in a screen like that, there's an extremely high possibility that the NDSTT people would just take it out. Unless they just don't care
