Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Thank you for your replies yesterday. I've just finished reinstalling and everything seems to be working great now :yaynds: I don't suppose there's any way to make screencaps is there?

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

So if I delete '_nds', can I use Universal Updater to reinstall, or should I manually install? I confess to not really understanding what are the essential scripts needed from UU.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

A few months back I tried installing TM++ on my cfw N3DS. It didn't work - can't remember the details. So more recently I attempted to fix it by running the Universal Updater. Now this is what I get: I figure I probably need to uninstall all of it and start afresh, but I'm not really...

Hacking [RELEASE] WiiVC Injector Script (GC/Wii/Homebrew Support)

Although I have well over 100 Wii physical discs, I have stopped ripping them in recent years as I suspect it has caused accelerated wear on my disc drive lasers. So I've started using downloaded isos instead, but have just encountered an nkit.iso for the first time. I'm guessing the Wii VC...

Hacking Wii U USB Helper transfer speed

No offence, but you seem to know less about this stuff than even I do, or at least don't read my posts fully. I know CBHC is cfw. But I wanted Mocha to enable IOSUHAX, thus speeding up transfers from Wii U USB Helper. CBHC on it's own results in slower transfer speeds.

In case anyone ever had the same query... yes, I can run Mocha with CBHC and yes, it did increase my WUUSBH transfer speeds.

Hacking Wii U System Update 5.5.3 released

I've been having the same problem with Error Code 105-3015 while trying to install a Hyrule Warriors update. I was on 5.5.3 (patched to 99.99.99). I've deleted and recreated the update folder and now my Wii U is updating as I type. Thanks for this, and the OP who posted it earlier.

Hacking Hyrule Warriors forcing System Update - safe?

Ann established method for blocking updates is to delete the Update folder from the Wii U: https://gbatemp.net/threads/block-wii-u-system-updates-without-dns-blocking.477944/ I thought I'd deleted mine, but when I went to recreate it, one was already there.

Hacking Hyrule Warriors forcing System Update - safe?

DNS settings were already on Auto. Trouble is I've just followed the 'restore update folder' procedure, but there's one already there (I was sure I'd deleted it), so now I don't know WTF going on...

Hacking Hyrule Warriors forcing System Update - safe?

System settings update gives an error. But I think I've realised why. I think I deleted the Update folder, which explains why my DNS settings are default. So if I recreate the update folder it should work...

Hacking Hyrule Warriors forcing System Update - safe?

Yeh, I've come to the same conclusion. Thanks. But question is, how do I do it? If I run the system update I get an error. I assumed I had changed the DNS settings to prevent updates, but they're on Auto-obtain. Do I need to remove CBHC before I can update?

Hacking Hyrule Warriors forcing System Update - safe?

My Wii U has been running CBHC for quite a while now and I've forgotten some of the details regarding system updates etc. My Wii U system settings say it's running 99.99.99.E. I've just installed Hyrule Warriors but it won't let me launch the game - it says it needs a System Update before it...

Hacking Should I start using MochaCFW and CBHC?

Are you able to elaborate on your second point, because that's exactly the position I'm in - wanting to use Mocha on a CBHC Wii U to speed up ftp transfers?

Hacking Wii U USB Helper transfer speed

I've noticed the reference to speed and IOSUHAX in the Wii U USB helper app, and I now understand that Mocha is needed to make use of that feature. Can I just run Mocha on top of CBHC, or do I have to uninstall CBHC? Would I need to do anything else?

Hacking Wii U USB Helper transfer speed

I'm running CBHaxchi and Wii U USB Helper, and would prefer to use the direct transfer method because my PC has dodgy USB ports that have corrupted numerous SD cards in the past. Trying my first direct transfer over wi-fi now, and the transfer speed is fluctuating between 115KB/s and 170 KB/s...

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.
    +1
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    not really
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon

Too bad Excite Truck wasn't multi player :(

@SylverReZ, sorry for the stupid suggestion I had in that thread
