    Nevermind, I got it to work by patching the rom using dslazy. It's weird that the rom worked fine on my original DS and R4 but had to be patched to run on the 3DS with the R4i Dual Core?

I also tried setting it up with a hexedit on the YSMenu.nds with name changed to R4.dat which worked out great to have it load YSMenu straight out, but same compatibility issue.     I emailed r4isdhc to see if it's a compatibility issue with this card. I see it's a cheaper card from dsflashcart.com Maybe the R4i Gold 3DS Wood model is the better one to get.
