    Okay, I wasn't able to find what I needed on the xbin ftp, but I followed your advice and got hactools to extract the update NCAs from kirby, which is 4.1.0, and I think I can patch exFAT compatibility with this tool with those. Unless I'm misreading the situation and actually need an XCI at 5.1.0?

    Awesome, thanks very much. I'll try using hactool first. Just curious, but when you're referring to "xbins" do you mean the page with all the file listings, or their FTP servers, which I just discovered are a thing. That might explain why I'm not finding the stuff people say I can just get off...

    Cheers, thanks! Good to know, but all of them? Or just one hidden in the list? Is there a tool for extracting them all or do I need to use XCI Explorer to extract each one manually and then collect them in a zip, or something?

    Sorry for the noob questions, I'm still learning how all this stuff works. I'd like to use this to patch my 4.1.0 for exFAT, and that's really all I want it for. Looking at the instructions on page 1, the only options I can apply are: Extract the UPDATE partition from an XCI image or xbins...

    Managed to restore the OFW just by fucking around. Attempted to patch with an xci at 4.1.0, but still got a blue screen. I haven't a clue. Oh well.
