    Homebrew Nintendont and third party GC adapter

    I just tried it today, version 5.468 and it doesn't freeze. I connected the mayflash adapter, connected the wavebird controller, launched F-Zero GX and everything worked great, just as having the Gamecube, is awesome.

    Has this been fixed? It's a little annoying to disconnect and reconnect the adapter. Or I could use an earlier version of Nintendont?

    Gaming PSA: microSD Management, SMBv1 and Windows 10.

    I sign up in this forum just to say thank you, this worked for me. I tried everything, I was using the SMB 1 protocol before, but some update must have moved something and it absolutly does not work anymore. Even looked into the NETbios option this thread mentions, but nothing worked.

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
