There are no more tester slots available and those who are testers are all personal friends of Treeki.

I'm not on the dev team so I don't know. I'm only a tester.

I've been planning to record another level sometime but I need to finish building it first. However i don't know what I want to do with it yet. Maybe I should just record the first half. Or better yet I could start another level and start messing around with all the sprites we've begun...

Everything is on a 16x16 grid but with sprites you can place them more exactly by clicking the arrows next to the X and Y windows once you've placed them close to where you want.

Small update on my side of things. Tonight I went crazy and documented probably 50 simpler sprites. So things are going great on the sprites side of things. No examples this time unfortunately.

We would have to look into them first. There's a chance.

I'm not the one who made that, sorry.

The F byte is the only one we haven't documented fully. -It turns out the overworlds are one big 3D model so to edit those we will need to figure out a way to export and import them. You'll most likely need an external program to build them. As for pathing them, I have no clue how that would...

(Sorry for missing the o) Hmm, you're right. Probably because you need to increase the border on the whole thing. You're using Photoshop, right? There should be a way to extend the shadow's length.

@skaw: The shadow on the + doesn't match the shadow on the rest of the test. Fix that and it'll look great. Hey again! Bit of an update from the sprite-figuring-out side. We're hard at work trying to understand how the hundreds of sprites in the game work. Some of the more recent...

That's how the editor already works. Just hit Open and a list of level names pops up. You can also open them by file name (ex. 01-01.arc) if you want.

Remaking SMW would be a staggering feat because so many enemies and sprites ARE NOT in NSMBWii. It has a lot but not everything. Basic stage layouts wouldn't be hard for the most part but anything sprite related will be tough.

You cannot have multiple copies unless you give them different title IDs. It's not a big problem for me since it's just a matter of having a backup of the original (in my case, the retail copy of the game) but if you have nothing else, you basically will have to take ISOs on and off depending...

Yes you can edit the moving rotating red blocks, we just haven't determined their sprite data yet. Should be a simple enough task if they act anything like the stationary red blocks.

Just want to show off a picture of Reggie in action. 1680x1014, ignore my windowsitter. I'm attempting to design a new level based on 3-1 in the game. That means penguins suit, sliding and more. That sprite 366 is a green rotating block from level 1-5.
