ROM Hack Pokémon Blaze Black & Pokémon Volt White
I kept getting a 0 byte file after applying the patch until I renamed the rom's filename to not include the "é" in Pokémon. Try renaming your rom if the patching won't work, making sure not to use any special characters. I'm not sure if this will work in your case but it's worth a try.- Firen

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
