    you are correct. what i mean, if the device has the power to play 3ds (like if it has an actual mini 3ds inside), then it will do all the processing for the wiiU and all the WiiU has to do is projection/streaming

    OMG......so there are others who wish to play 3ds on wiiU......Thanks a million. I just saw a youtube on ntrview and it looks amazing...one thing the guy mentioned is that you will need speakers for the sound. I wish that some one can make all this in a small device that you can plug the 3ds...
