    I can confirm DX now ships new r4's with the new casing. Just got mine today.

    I just received a new shell r4, and I can verify, there is no spring, cosmetic changes on outside (edge grooves) and also no pin separation. Anyone know if I can use an old shell replacement? Say from: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.4396
