    Those are both probable reasons for not putting it up, I believe. Perhaps if it is a licensing issue, it will be resolved sometime in the future. Hey, thanks for the link to that site. I was always curious to know what was coming out ahead of time, so that'll be useful.

    That's true, but I haven't been playing the Wii U side of the console as much as the vwii, so locking it down like I did works pretty well for me.

    Standby on my old Wii made the system so hot to the touch that I had to disable it. Don't know if that happened to anyone else, but that's my experience. Seems kind of counterproductive to leave a system on standby if all it does is cause wear and tear, as you stated.

    Blocked by device, that's what I also did. Had no other choice, really, as my router can only block about 15 IPs total.

    Not sure about this method, but perhaps if you had a copy of the Netflix for Wii disc that was sent out to people with Netflix accounts back when it was first made available for use on the Wii, you could install it to the vwii that way? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
