    The retail version will only check that a save file exists, it won't derive any other information from it, so it's safe. If someone can share a save file I'll appreciate it. Thanks.

    I missed the pre-launch event. Can I download a save file from somewhere and upload it to my system so that I will get the special Mario costume on the release copy? Thanks for the help :-)
