PS5 EDM-033 No Power – Issue After Southbridge and PMIC Replacement

What is the resistance on the side where it's 0 volts? Is it a short there? 2,5 V must be there..

PS5 EDM-033 No Power – Issue After Southbridge and PMIC Replacement

Pin 13 on the RT5126 is EN2 by SB. Should be 3.3V. So your southbridge doesn’t want to enable this chip. (Edit: 3.3 V after pwr on. You need 1.95 EN1 pin29) Potential causes: 1. Short circuit around the south bridge area. 2. BIOS compatibility (requires different BIOS for 61-series south...

PS5 EDM-033 No Power – Issue After Southbridge and PMIC Replacement

Next to the Southbridge, there's a 25 MHz crystal, and on the opposite side of the PCB, another one — a 32 kHz crystal. Honestly, I don’t quite understand why your current reading shows 0 mA and doesn’t change, even when a 5V rail is active. SB starts.. so may be it is broken. Are you sure...

PS5 EDM-033 No Power – Issue After Southbridge and PMIC Replacement

Sometimes, flux residue under the SB chip prevents the 32 kHz crystal oscillator from starting, and the Southbridge fails to boot. Check this and clean if necessary.

PS5 EDM-033 No Power – Issue After Southbridge and PMIC Replacement

You're counting the pins wrong! You should count counterclockwise. P.S. And what is the exact current draw right after turning on a 12-volt line?
