Sad about the price hikes for the Steam Deck, but most of us won't be affected, as we all got big raises on our paychecks in the past couple of years, right? ... RIGHT !?!?
gaming is getting to be such an expensive hobby. im glad i have alot of retro hardware i can play on. i like expanding my collection of systems to play on but at these prices ill just stick to what i have and be happy with what I have.
You wouldn't download a car (unless you had a 3d printer).
I used to have xbox live and I bought a few games, then xbox banned my account for using a modded 360. Then I couldn't play my bought games, so in the end I just downloaded them and...
I pirated a lot of games. I also bought a lot of games, I'd say upwards of $7000 - $9000. Seriously! I bought a lot of Genesis-SNES-PSX-Saturn-PS2-XBOX-GCN-PS3 games, a lot of them brand new. I'm probably underestimating what I spent on all...
I just checked and 887 is the latest version on the Russian website. I didn't test it, though. Looks like the Github page is getting a little behind. Thanks to @VioletRose for posting it.
Just chiming in to say TYVM to all the devs who make wonderful CFW and Homebrew for the NSW.
Special shoutouts to SciresM as always, thanks for carrying the mantle for so long.
And now, to Hexkyz and the rest of the ReSwitched Discord devs for...

Indeed. Most of the games that are worth our time are already on Switch, maybe a couple more will...
It's easy to say that with what we have now, but I'm just as sure that people would be complaining about them releasing the same game again at full price if they kept the formula as it was in 8 Deluxe. It was always going to be a lose lose situation.
As Switch games releases will eventually slow to a trickle in the coming years (or months?), the need to update to the newest firmware will also become irrelevant, probably. We're lucky SciresM's retirement came so late in Switch's life. I...
Sorry but unless you:
1. Worked in IT for the biggest software company in human history
2. Went to the same high school as Kevin Mitnick
Then don't tell me the Switch 2 will be hacked
Sorry, but going to highschool with someone makes us...
"The Switch 2 will NOT be hacked."
And people used to probably think humans would never land on the moon
You can't predict the future, and forever is a long time - at some point quantum computers may make all current cryptography meaningless
It all comes down to quality control. I once worked as QC in my workplace, and my job was to detect mistakes made by other people. Of course, that doesn't mean I couldn't make mistakes myself checking for mistakes. Now what if there had been...
