    If you can, download hard disk sentinel and plug the hdd via usb to your PC. Hard Disk Sentinel is a program that checks the status of the HDD, SSD, etc. and tells you it's current health.

    Another option could be trying to hunt down the leaked wii repair disc. It should virginize your wii iirc.

    I am unsure which IOS to use, CFG mod is using for some reason 248. Since its a DL game it goes also for IOS 53. The crash is consistent and happens on CFG and Wiiflow, will test later GX, but I don't expect a different result. I guess I can try with 249, 250 and 251. I have used two different...

    Its not a problem of Ocarina, its how nintendon't loads games. In short it "shifts" the internal memory addresses, so its a gamble if a code will work or not. Some might, some won't and some will crash the system.

    don't stick also to just USB loader GX, try wiiflow and CFG mod. Its not always relevant, but there might be a setting you changed in GX that's also part of the cause. Having multiple avenues to test is well worth the hassle of swapping between three different loaders. Some games might not work...

    I can see two posibilities. Either, a bad dump of the game, or the stick is not playing nicely with the wii. Sticks aren't exactly reliable. So for the first one, try to get a new dump of S&P:Star successor and check. I had a similar issue with metroid prime 3 corruption, and it was a bad dump.

    No Y cable, but the enclosure came with an AC power cord which is plugged and the cable is indeed plugged to port 0. Currently I managed to move from the Norion crash and so far no crashes.

    ya but I tried about 5 different dumps and I kept getting the same exact issue over and over again. Given that 5 different .iso files (converted via Wii Backup Manager with no issues) I thought "all right, it might not be the .iso, but a damaged file" I'll update to v10 tonight.

    I updated yesterday the CIOS, I thought I had edited them in, but seems not. Modmii only pointed me to update IOS 11,20,30,40,50, 52,60, 70 and 80. and CIOS 251 to dx10 beta52 I put 249 as dx2-v8 because of an old rec from here suggested it as a way to fix the crash. Seems the problem was...
