    try check memory stick for errors on PC (and fix) it may have some bad sectors. Also psss... you can format it on PC and PSP.

    As i understand what SkyBladeCloud trying to do now is - "official translation backport to psp version (from Vita/PC)" and this is not "continuing/finishing current translation" anymore. Also i see no reason why the translation will not work on actual psp.
