    You are right... in fact is even worse about the availability of some of the games in digital. Some, like "A hat in time" or "30-in-1 game collection" don't show on the e-shop or show as not for sale already... so not even that 100% availability there.

    Yes... just get any of the newest physical card games and they will have the mandatory update included in the cartridge. (Metroid Prime 4 is a good example). You could also update from a different switch 2 with the local "match version".

    What you are looking for already exists for the sw1... it's called Modchip. The mig is just a "cartridge emulator" and requires a raw image of an existing physical cartridge: no physical cartridge with your wished contents = unable to have it in mig.
