    Snes emulation is far from being perfect, but you can do some tweaking. Go to the video options and then set the frameskip to 1 or 2. It may help a bit.

    If you have the opportunity, get a hackable 2000 (slim) since more memory never hurts. The fat one is also a good choice, specially if you find it for a good price.
