Hacking Team-Xecuter Releases SX OS v1.4

This. Especially because you can use emulators and such and if you like to have complete romsets, they need space. In the future it would be super cool to be able to load games from a network share. I have my NAS with 6TB of stuff, it would be sweet if I could load everything from there.

Hacking COMPLETED Xecuter SX OS Play Online titles using cert from another game

It has been a fine ride while it lasted. I've found that there are so many offline games that I like and want to play that I stopped entirely caring for the online.

Hacking COMPLETED Xecuter SX OS Play Online titles using cert from another game

As I stated in a previous message, this is not true, as several Italian friends of mine have been banned out of nowhere after playing some games using SX Pro. They have never used LayeredFS, never played online. And they got banned. EDIT: some of them have updated the games they played, but...

Hacking COMPLETED Xecuter SX OS Play Online titles using cert from another game

I don't want to spread panic, but I think Nintendo is somehow keeping those boards under scrutiny. After my last post, several of my friends in Italy have been banned out of nowhere, even those who never played online. I want to think that's just a strange coincidence, but this happened and...

Well, soon you're going to have a report from Italy as well and we'll see how this all pans out. I just need to choose and buy an original game to use its certificate unless someone wants to send me one, for science, you know.

Hacking Xecuter SX FAQ - Finally!

I was wondering if Linux on Switch is able to access mass storage devices attached through the USB. My dream would to just bypass all the SX OS/Horizon/whatever stuff and just launch games straight from Linux. That would make the Switch really a killer portable console.

Just wondering... does anyone know if loading backups from usb pen drives/Hard disks is on the to-do list for SX devs?

The more I read about this, the more I think this is strictly a US thing. Neither you or xoxo are in the US and both of you have not been banned yet. Still, people following this very guide which are in the US have been promptly banned after 1-3 days. Don't know really what to think about it.

Sine Mora is a 2GB game, the others are all bigger, that's why you got banned. See here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/xecuter-sx-os-play-online-titles-using-cert-from-another-game.508357/page-19#post-8114054

Guess so... So, just to make a recap on which certificate is safe to use, donor gamecard must be: 1 - Same or greater size 2 - Same Type 3 - From an offline game Anything else? EDIT: for example, Breath of the Wild is 16GB, type 1, and doesn't have online functionality as far as I can tell...

Good to know. So far has anyone banned due to using a Type 1 card cert in a Type 2 game?

Well, if they are hashing the game card you'll probably want the certificate of a game of the same size. Making a wild guess, but using a certificate of a game of the same size and game card type should keep you safe.
