    So is the MiG switch safe if you've dumped all your own roms? I know people were on the fence for awhile. Is the consensus that it's safe now or still risky?

    https://jsaux.com/products/cooling-fans-for-switch-2 That's the fan I was looking at. I used one for the steam deck LCD and it helped quite a bit. An aluminum heat sink may work as well.

    Damn, I was hoping you could get video out of the top USB-C port as well, I'm trying to get an extension cable and the JSAUX external fan so I can play "docked" with the extra fan for better cooling

    If you dump your own roms and don't pirate anything I don't think you have much to fear in terms of going online, getting updates.....at least that's what I hope

    MiG Flash on a modded switch

    So I have both a modded switch and a MiG flash cart. If I try to play a game off the MiG flash cart can I just get updates for the game via tinfoil?
