looks like the Majora's Mask Re-orchastrated music mod was keeping v5 from running for me. Bummer, that was a great update to all the background music they created. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. Ran it on the previous v4 builds...

Your source code doesn't have any changes, you've only uploaded the .nro to the code... I would like to see how you did the gyro and rumble out of curiosity

This fixed it. Thanks so much. I didn't see that there was a newer release than nx2. Anyone happen to know if adding a music otr to the /switch/soh/mods/ just automatically loads it in, or if there's a step I need to take to enable it when...
