    I wasn't able to fix it, I still plan to work on it in the future but after clearing the solder mask I was able to confirm that I did in fact sever the trace for the dat0. I will need to work on repairing any damaged traces when I've got more practice working that type of repair.

    Used the DAT0 adapter and I still get the same thing. I'll be looking into safe ways to clean up UV solder mask so I can look for broken traces.
