    What cearp said. Also, they keep cracking down and disabling with updates, so not totally foolproof. I still keep a proper 3DS so that I can play good games without worrying about the limitations, and I am willing to pay money for good games in English. GW is reserved for region-free solutions.

    I'm pretty pleased with the release because I have been wanting to try out Yokai Watch 2. It made my day as I could finally transfer out my Account to a non-GW 3DS. Thank you GW (also to whoever who leaked it).

    To anyone else who tried, can you confirm if the patch is necessary or not? I'm planning to get the patch from e-Shop but I want to know since I have a non-JP GW-ready console as well.

    I usually go for my Blue card when I figure that something is wrong with GW, but this is the first time the Blue Card died on me.

    Cannot re-apply GW hack with Blue Card. I think I may figured out the cause of it, but I'm going to worry about it later.

    Ok, some bad news, system transfer works fine, but my console is now half-bricked. Need to find a way to revert it back to original state. EDIT: False alarm, system transfer is fine. I just needed to reapply blue card. (Had to replace the blue card, one of them was not working.)
