    sorry I wasn't clear, I did run modmii through windows and installed the "copy to SD" items to my formated SD card, but for some reason my wii won't read any of my wii games, backup or original, but it was able to read both a backup and orginal gamecube game (also they were US versions).     ------ I've only had on in region japanese game and that disk cracked in half (children can't be trusted with anything). well I did try my out of region back ups and it can no longer read them, though I have actually yet to try and in region game, I'll see if I can download SSB somewhere, Thanks...

    majority of my games were back ups, the only orginals I have were just dance and SSB..... I can still access everything, except the wii settings as I guess the region update messed that up. My menu with all the channels still loads, so I don't think it's fully bricked? any help is appreciated! :D

    I tried using smash bros already, though the region for my SSB is US while my wii is japanese? not sure if that matters, but my wii can no longer read it though? and I'll look into the other options! :) Thanks!

    Well here's the thing: I have a hard modded Japanese Wii and I updated it with a different region update (yeah I'm stupid I know...) and now it won't read any of my back up disks or my Super Smash Bros/ Just Dance Disks (US region) so how do I use modmii properly without a way to boot it up?

    So I installed modwii and it asks me for it's current system menu, but I can not access the menu because I updated my wii I'm assuming it's 4.3? also which exploit do I use?

    sorry a bit slow on the terms, and I'm pretty sure it's hard modded as it has a mod chip. @ ddetkowski is there any instructions on how to use modwii? also the wii menu I meant was the section at the bottom left corner, where you can update wireless connections etc, that no longer works for me.
