I tried some more random stuff like reinstalling IOS58 and using different USB drives but nothing seems to change. Does anyone know what ES Init stands for, what it does or what could make it fail?- DerZerleger

Hacking Nintendont
I'm trying to use Nintendont on a Wii and I'm facing some trouble. For every game I try to start the Wii shuts down almost immediately. The last thing I see on the screen is that it goes to number 0 ES Init. I read that ES Init has a rare chance of crashing but apparently it crashes every time...- DerZerleger

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
