    After you region changed your console, were any other services (YouTube app, etc) also affected in addition to the eShop? Also, do you know if it's possible to regain access to the eShop if the console's region is changed back to its original region?

    This method would require a second 3DS, correct? That's a bummer. I was hoping to be able to start playing now instead of having to wait until August when I get back to the US, but I guess I don't really have a choice.
