    Thanks but I looked for the ribbon option only and could not find it. I haven’t used my soldering iron in so long and today is first time i picked it up and had no patience and burned my pad. I’ll try tracing the wire on the pad, thanks.

    I burned the pad on my v6 cpu flex ribbon, does anyone know where I can get a replacement without buying the mod chip too? 1732254624 What type of wire is this and what size? Is this awg 30? I have awg30 but think it’s too thin. I would like to use a more thick wire.

    I had this issue and then I checked my Data 0 and it was not getting any voltage. I had to solder the cable on a little better and it fixed my issue.

    Hi all, I got into soldering and came across switch mod chip soldering and wanted to know what is the best tip to use when soldering. I was watching a video and someone said to use the k-tip and not the standard pointy tip. What are your thoughts?
