Can anyone confirm, for definite, which SNES core causes the 5mb save states? There are seeming contradictions in the updates, with the first quoted here seeming to confirm 2010 is the one to use, but the update the previous month stating the opposite. this update...

[NESC] FAQ/Troubleshooting for Hacking NES Classic

It'd be good to get this cleared up, as this update https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover/releases/tag/0.7 clearly states that by v. 2.15 the core was changed 'back to' snes9x2010.

If anyone's interested, I got C8 error at 136/326 (!!!!) starting Pokémon crystal. I tried it twice, it produced the error at exactly the same point - upon selecting the saved game. I really didn't expect this, considering how little memory I have used (74 games, predominantly nes but some SNES...

Does anyone know if it is true that if you uncheck 'compress non nes games' (2.15) that would enable battery saves on N64 games? If so, would it be an idea to leave it checked when adding SNES games (for example) then uncheck it when adding N64 games?

Or, does this mean, if these options are 'on', then retroarch will allow you to 'automatically' save / load using a predefined key if you were using a pc / keyboard?!

Is anyone able to explain the auto save state / auto load state options in Retroarch? Meaning, what are they for? I've got it into my head that, with them being enabled, it is 'automatically' creating save states at some pre defined interval, but I think I'm confusing this with SRAM saves. I've...

Which other folders need to be copied over if you change to a new version? Games, config and user mods? Anything else?

Thanks! Really appreciate the tip. So it sounds like it is a case of choose which version of the core to suit your choice of games.. rather than one version being 'better' than the other. Or a bit of both. ?! auto Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

I've been given a couple of 'logic 3' controllers which look just like Wii classic controllers. I don't know how much they cost but may be cheaper than Wii ones. I've tested them on a few different games on different formats and they seem fine. They also have a little red led which looks quite...

I have noticed Kirby's Dreamland 3 doesn't run very well, i wonder if there is an issue with games like this which make use of the "pseudo high-resolution" SNES feature? To the best of my knowledge, i have the latest retroarch / SNES installed, in conjunction with 2.15. Does anyone know anything...

Would deleting save states manually (via NES menu) before deciding to delete a game which was installed using hakchi perform the same function as this new feature of 2.16? Or are save states hanging around regardless?

Hey! Thanks for that. So was I right about the other points? Synchronise means a resynchronisation of chosen / ticked games - regardless of whether they were on there or not - and if you check original 30 games it reinstalls them based on the initial kernel dump?

Hi all. I've trawled through a lot of posts and haven't been able to find some quite basic info. So I'm hoping some kind person will oblige. Using 2.15. Say you've added some more games to the original games for the first time, used the nes for a while and then want to add some more, keeping...
