    Thank you for your reply. I'm actually using the latest sigpatches from the thread on this forum. I've never used sys-patches before. I did use linkaho though, a long long time ago, so it might indeed be culprit. I'll try with the linkaho mod tomorrow first - I'm curious to see if the issue...
