    dds is more friendly with gpu vram it can have quality loss but it is minimal, on the other hand png uses more vram it takes longer to load, it happened to me with the textures of resident evil 4 in png from one stage to another it took 5 seconds...

    Always nice when you're dreading doing something and then see someone else did it. That's how I feel about these long RPG games, would love to do them but time is an issue :)
