    Hacking USB Loader GX

Thanks jeannotte. I was able to find my answer through the first link. It took a little bit to figure it out, but what happened is strange. As I said before, I used USB Loader GX to add the game to my EHD, but then the game would not show up with my other titles. When I looked on my HD, the...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

I recently bought a used copy of Medal of Honor Vanguard and uploaded to my external HD in USB loader GX. However, it doesn't show up in USB Loader GX. I can't see it on any of the different views, i.e. grid, circular, etc. When I try to upload it again, it says it's already installed. Anybody...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

Thanks again XFlak. I reinstalled modmii in a simpler location, and the nand.bin extraction worked. I now have an EmuNAND named /nand/ on the directory of my SD card. Can I use modmii to extract the wad files to the EmuNAND?

    Hacking USB Loader GX

I have a couple more questions. I installed bootmii and during the first start up, it ran a block verification. How do I do a NAND to EmuNAND dump with bootmii? I thought that happened as part of the verification, but when I checked my hardrive there was no nand or nands folder. Also, I...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

XFlak, thanks for helping. I appreciate it. I am in the process of installing bootmii and my wii is the newer kind that can only install it as an IOS, so I will probably look into priloader later. I am going to install savegame manager gx also. I could only manually back up about half of my...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

Thanks for the response worm28. I will look into bootmii and showmiiwads. Do I need to delete the EmuNAND that I just made before I do a new one with bootmii?

    Hacking USB Loader GX

I am hoping to get some help. I homebrewed my Wii a few years ago and have been using USB loader GX to load my Wii and GC games. I wanted to add WiiWare games, so I followed the directions from a video on youtube by Anton Retro. This entailed putting the WAD files on the WAD folder on my HD...

    Hacking USB Loader GX

Thanks for the response. I just shelled out good money for a big flash drive. Too bad I didn't get an external HD instead.

    Hacking USB Loader GX

I recently got a new flash drive. I formatted it to FAT32 and transferred my wii files to it from my old flash drive. When I try to load USB Loader GX from the new flash drive, it stops on the opening "applying sorting and filtering" screen. I tried the old flash drive and it works properly...

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

I took my USB out of the Wii and put it into my computer to see if something had changed. A large number of .png files had been placed into the root of the USB. I did not put them there. I deleted and re-installed the syscheckHD folder and put my USB back into the Wii. It still did not work and...

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

Now things have gotten worse. When I load the home brew channel, none of my apps show up. I get only some bubbles floating up the screen. Seems like my Wii is not recognizing my USB drive. Would running the Syscheck cause that to happen?

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

I extracted the syscheck folder to the apps folder on my USB drive. After running the check, I turned off the Wii and checked for the report on my USB. It was not there (the directions say that this will happen SD is supported but USB is not). I tried to do this again so I could take screenshots...

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

I am using a small USB drive (8 gb). I don't have an SD card and was able to get the homebrew channel installed without it. I had a lot of problems getting the homebrew browser installed, but finally ended up getting it. I also have a few emulators installed (Not64, FCE Ultra GX, Nintendont...
