    To get arm9 do I need to Part 2 - 9.2.0 Downgrade Part 3 - RedNAND Part 4 - 2.1.0 Downgrade Part 5 - arm9loaderhax before getting arm9?

    Once you have created your Franken-SD Adapter, connect the butt connectors together, and then put the makeshift microSD adapter into the SD reader(Make sure you have one of the readers from the list above!). DO NOT plug the SD reader into your computer yet… that bolded statement confuses me...

    So theoretically I am soldering 4 wires onto the DAT0, CMD, CLK and also ground (GND), then soldering the other end to the SD card adapter? Do I even need a butt connector? Cuz I can just remove the wires right after the downgrade? Also, what happens to the sd card adapter? Is it unusable...

    Idk Its the big one red one and I bought it 3 months ago in April. I did not know that there is a new and old 3DS XL. Bought it from Target if that helps.
